Born in Kherson Ukraine Russia in 1888 Rossine studied at Odessa in 1903 and then at the Imperial Academie des Arts of Saint Petersbourg. He worked inParis from 1910 and exhibited at the Salon des Independants from 1910-1914. He had a one man exhibition in Oslo Norway in 1916 where he used his piano optophonic for the firtst time. He returned to Russia after the February 1917 revolution where he participated in the revolutionary Russian activities. He returned to Paris in 1925 with his wife Pauline and family. In Paris he continued to exhibit his work tat the Salon des Independants and particiapted in the Paris INternation Exhibition in 1937
